RENEWABLE ENERGY MONTH - DAKAR

As part of its Executive Committee’s action plan, WAGEDO launched the “WAGEDO Renewable Energy Month” a regional initiative designed to promote clean energy solutions and awareness. This special program was successfully held across four West African countries, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Togo, and Niger bringing together stakeholders, experts, and youth to opportunities, discuss and challenges, highlight share innovative approaches to renewable energy and climate action. In Senegal, it happened on February 26, 2025. The event focused on the theme “Promotion of Renewable Energy and Women’s Inclusiveness in the Fight Against Climate Change in West Africa.” This initiative highlighted WAGEDO’s commitment to advancing clean energy solutions while ensuring that women play a central role in addressing climate challenges across the region.
