RENEWABLE ENERGY MONTH - ABIDJAN

As part of its Executive Committee’s action plan, WAGEDO launched the “WAGEDO Renewable Energy Month” a regional initiative designed to promote clean energy solutions and awareness. This special program was successfully held across four West African countries, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Togo, and Niger bringing together stakeholders, experts, and youth to opportunities, discuss and challenges, highlight share innovative approaches to renewable energy and climate action. In Côte d’Ivoire it happened on February 26, 2025. The event was held under the theme “Renewable Energy and Climate Change:Challenges and Perspectives for an Effective Energy Transition.” This gathering reinforced WAGEDO’s regional engagement and its commitment to fostering dialogue and solutions for a just and sustainable energy transition in West Africa. Building on the momentum of the event, WAGEDO announced a series of collaborative initiatives with local stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of clean energy technologies across the region.
